Saturn Aura Hybrid Green Line joins the fleet of hybrid vehicles at Simply Hybrid vehicle rental system.

Closely following on the heels of the successful hybrid Saturn Vue Green line, the Saturn Aura achieves an estimated EPA 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. These numbers show an overall improvement of up to 30% in gas economy over another Saturn Aura, the non-hybrid XE.

2008 Hybrid Saturn Aura Green Line, a 2007 carryover, is a 2.4L Ecotec-based mild hybrid vehicle that uses a power train system, the first GM passenger car application, similar to the Vue Green Line, also available as rental at Simply Hybrid. Its power train is rated at 164 hp (122 kW) and 159 lbf·ft (215 Nm) of torque. The electric motor/generator augments the gasoline engine during launch and under wide-open throttle.

It is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 164-horsepower, hybrid engine, a 4T45-E 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard, incorporating GM's belt alternator starter system. It rides on the XE's suspension.

Each hybrid Saturn Aura 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan model is well equipped, with premium features and interior materials among the best in its segment.
